Objectives: The aim of this study was to find out the germinated Rhynchosia volubilis effect on the male bone morphogenesis.
Methods: For this purpose, experiments were performed to measure the polyphosphate content of the germinated Rhynchosia volubilis, and examine the effects of the transcription activity of genes related to bone morphogenesis on the formation of bones.
Results: 1. The 1 day germinated Rhynchosia volubilis polyphosphate increased over 300% than 0day germinated Rhyncosia volubilis.
2. The proliferation of MG-63 processed by 0day, 1day, 2day, 3day germinated Rhynchosia volubilis generally increased by density.
3. The transcription activity of the COL1, BMP2B genes increased 11%, 8% in 10%FBS with H2O2 in case of 0day.
4. The transcription activity of the OTN, BMP1A genes increased 7%, 5% in 10%FBS with H2O2 in case of 1day.
5. The transcription activity of the MGP gene increased 16% in 10%FBS in case of 1day.
Conclusions: Germinated Rhynchosia volubilis is believed to have effectiveness on bone morphogenesis.
